We require an instructor to conduct a study-abroad preparatory course at a university in Tokyo. Students will study in New Zealand, so strong preference for a New Zealander. Start date: November 17th.

Dates: November 17th and 25th, December 1st
Times: 9:00 - 10:30 and 10:14 - 12:15
Remuneration: 7,000 yen per 90-minute lesson + transportation
Description: The course is more or less equally divided between survival English, communication strategies / skills, and the country and university. Materials have been prepared for the course, and the teacher will need to provide supplementary content relevant to New Zealand and the university there. In the past, teachers have incorporated menus from local restaurants, immigration forms, etc, all of which can be incorporated into the lessons. There isn’t a final exam, although homework should be assigned each week to be presented in the class, such as researching a topic about New Zealand.
