Job details: 

This part-time teaching position focuses on teaching one to two classes in the Department of Human Informatics and Cognitive Sciences. Both classes fall under the overall seminar theme of “Information and Communication Technologies"" although this position focuses less on content instruction and more on supervising the third-year students as they write a substantial term paper and the fourth-year students as they conduct research and write their senior thesis. The anticipated course load will be between one to two classes (90 to 270 minutes / week).

1. Academic writing, research methods, informatics, applied linguistics or related area of specialization
2. Native or near-native English-level proficiency
3. University-level teaching experience especially academic writing and research methods
4. Completed Master's degree with publications; doctoral degree (Ph.D., Ed.D.) or equivalent research experience preferred
